Follow a supplier
Updated 2 Oct 2026
Follow a supplier from its profile to get emails when it wins new contracts, and choose how often they arrive.
Following a supplier tells you when it wins new public sector work. It is a Business feature: pick the competitors you care about once, and we email you when new awards appear. There is no limit to how many suppliers you can follow.
Follow a supplier
- Go to
/competitors, or choose Track Competitors from the Intelligence menu. - Search for the company in Search supplier name... and open its profile.
- Select Follow next to the supplier name. The button changes to Following and a confirmation appears.
If you are on Free or Pro, the Follow button carries a Business label and takes you to the plans. You can still read the whole supplier profile. See Using Competitor Intelligence.
See who you follow
Choose Competitors in the sidebar. The Following list shows each supplier with its number of contracts won, the total value and the date of its latest award. Select a name to open its profile. If you have not followed anyone yet, the page offers Search suppliers.
You can also review the list in Preferences, under Followed suppliers.
Stop following
Open the supplier profile and select Following to unfollow. Or open Preferences and use the cross beside the supplier under Followed suppliers.
The emails you get
- Competitor alerts. When a followed supplier has a new award, you get an email with the subject "... new awards from competitors you follow", grouped by supplier, each with a link to the tender.
- Weekly award summary. On Tuesday mornings we send a summary of contracts your followed suppliers have won in the past seven days. It is only sent when there is something new to report, and it is not sent if you have unsubscribed from our emails.
Choose how often alerts arrive
- Open Preferences from your account settings.
- Find Competitor alert frequency under Followed suppliers.
- Pick Instant, Daily, Weekly or Off. The new choice is saved straight away.
The default is Weekly.
Good to know
- Following suppliers and the weekly summary need a Business plan.
- You can also track a single contract for its renewal rather than the whole supplier. See Using Pipeline Intelligence.
- Looking for contracts rather than companies? Try Look up award history.
