Using Competitor Intelligence

Updated 2 Oct 2026

Search any supplier to see the public sector contracts it has won, who it works for and what the work was worth.

Competitor Intelligence lets you look up any supplier that has won public sector work and see its track record in one place. Use it to find out who holds the contracts you want, which buyers they work for and what the work was worth.

Search for a supplier

  1. Open the Intelligence menu in the main navigation and choose Track Competitors, or go to /competitors. Business users can also use Search suppliers from Competitors in the sidebar.
  2. Type part of the company name into Search supplier name.... You need at least two characters.
  3. Select Search. Each result shows the supplier name, the number of awards and the total value.
  4. Select a supplier to open its profile. Suppliers you open from search are listed under Recently viewed.

Searching and reading a supplier profile is open to everyone, including visitors who are not signed in.

What a supplier profile shows

  • The number of contracts won and their total value.
  • Sectors: the sectors the supplier wins work in, with a count for each.
  • Top Buyers: the buyers it works with most.
  • Awards: each contract with its title, buyer, region, value, award date and end date. Select the title to open the full tender page, or Source to open the original notice.
  • Sort buttons for Date, Value and Authority, and page controls for long histories.

Use the end date on each award to spot contracts that are coming to an end.

What Business adds

Business plans can follow a supplier and track individual contracts for renewal.

  • Follow sits next to the supplier name. Once selected it reads Following. See Follow a supplier.
  • Track for Renewal appears on awards that have an end date. It adds the contract to My Pipeline, where you can set a status and keep notes. See Using Pipeline Intelligence.

On Free and Pro plans these buttons are still shown and point you to the pricing page.

Good to know

  • You can also search by contract rather than by supplier. See Look up award history.
  • Values are shown as published by the buyer. Where a buyer did not publish a value, the award shows Not specified.
  • Plans and prices are on the pricing page.
