Export tenders to CSV
Updated 2 Oct 2026
On a Business plan, the Export CSV button on Browse downloads the tenders matching your current search as a spreadsheet file.
CSV export turns the tenders you are looking at into a spreadsheet file you can open in Excel or Google Sheets, or load into a CRM or bid tracker. It is included with Business plans.
Export your results
- Open Browse at
/browse. - Set up your search and filters the way you want them: keywords, sectors, buyer types, regions, closing dates, status and sort order.
- Check the count above the list. It reads "Showing X of Y live tenders" when filters are active.
- Select Export CSV, to the right of that count.
Your browser downloads a file named tendersignal-export- followed by today's date, with the extension .csv. The file holds every tender in your current search, not just the page you can see, so you do not need to page through the results first.
What is in the file
Each row is one tender. The columns include:
- Title and buyer, and the buyer type
- Value from, value to and currency
- Region and country
- Deadline and published date
- Notice type and status
- Awarded supplier and award date, where there is one
- Contact name, email and phone
- A link to the tender notice
Values are written as plain numbers in pounds, or in euros for a tender priced in euros, with the currency in its own column, so you can sort and add them up. A tender with a single value has the same figure in both value columns. Dates are written as year-month-day, so they sort correctly in a spreadsheet. Accented characters open correctly in Excel.
Limits
- An export holds up to 5,000 tenders. If your search matches more, the file contains the first 5,000 in your chosen order, so narrow the filters to capture the rest.
- A blank cell means no information was published for that field.
Who can export
CSV export is available on Business plans. On Free and Pro the Export CSV button does not appear on Browse. See What each plan includes and the pricing page.
Good to know
- The export follows the filters you have set, including the choice about EU tenders in your settings. If rows are missing, check what is selected above the list.
- Any cell that starts with a character a spreadsheet could treat as a formula is prefixed with an apostrophe, so nothing runs when you open the file.
- Buyer contact details are included wherever the buyer published them.
