Past Contracts
Search expired and awarded UK public sector contracts to see who won, what they were worth, and which are likely to be re-tendered.
Public contracts do not last forever. When one expires the buyer almost always runs the work again, which makes past contracts one of the clearest early signals of what is about to come back to market. Search the archive to see who holds a contract today, what it was worth, which authority awarded it, and when it is due to end.

What are past contracts?
Past Contracts is a searchable record of UK public sector contracts that have either been awarded to a supplier or reached the end of their advertised period. Each entry pulls together the details that matter for winning work: the buyer, the winning supplier, the contract value, the award date and, where the notice includes it, the end date. Instead of trawling dozens of separate portals, you get one place to see who won what, for how much, and from which authority.
How it works
We aggregate official award notices and expired tender notices from more than 145 UK and Irish sources, then clean and de-duplicate them so each contract appears once. You can search by keyword, filter by your sectors, and switch on "Re-tender candidates only" to focus on contracts that have expired without a recorded replacement award. Those are the opportunities most likely to return to the market. The archive is refreshed every day, so newly published awards appear automatically.
Why past contracts are worth watching
- Spot re-tenders before they are advertised. When a contract nears its end date the buyer usually re-procures. If you know that is coming you can introduce yourself to the buyer, understand the requirement, and be ready to bid the moment it is published, rather than discovering it with two weeks to go.
- Size up the incumbent. Seeing who currently holds a contract, and at what value, tells you whether it is worth challenging and how the incumbent is likely to price.
- Benchmark your pricing. Historic award values show what buyers actually pay for work like yours, so you can price to win without leaving money on the table.
- Find the right buyers. Filter by sector to see which authorities buy what you sell, and how often, then build a focused target list.
- Track the ones that matter. Add a contract to your pipeline and we will alert you when it re-tenders, so nothing slips past.
Who it is for
Past Contracts is built for SMEs, bid writers and business development teams who want to win more public sector work without watching every portal by hand. Whether you are researching a single buyer, sizing up a competitor, or building a year-round pipeline, the archive turns published award data into a practical head start.
