South Gloucestershire Council Young People's Supporting Housing Services (Woodleaze and Southwold House & Andrew Millman Court)

The Council is inviting tenders from potential suppliers who may be interested in delivering a Housing Related Support Service for Young People aged 16 –

25. There are two contracts: Lot 1 - Woodleaze, a supported housing scheme in Yate, South Gloucestershire for up to 18 young people. The service is designed for young people with higher levels of need, including care leavers and young people who have experienced placement instability, exploitation, homelessness, trauma, offending behaviour, mental health challenges or other factors which may place them at increased risk of poor outcomes. The service will provide an enhanced level of support and oversight to stabilise young people, reduce risk and prepare them to progress successfully towards lower supported accommodation and independent living. Lot 2 - Southwold House and Andrew Millman Court is a supported housing scheme for up to 22 young people in Yate, South Gloucestershire. It forms part of the Council's pathway towards independent living. The service is for young people requiring moderate to lower levels of support, including younger residents who are taking their first steps towards independent living and who require support to build practical life skills, confidence and resilience. Suppliers are free to bid for both Lots, however the Council’s preferred position is to award each Lot to different Providers. Providers are therefore asked to state their preferred Lot if bidding for both. The duration of both contracts is 5 years, with the potential to extend for a further 2 years, making a total contract term of 7 years per contract. Any contract extensions or renewals will be dependent upon continued need for the services, satisfactory performance and availability of funding. The contract start date for Woodleaze is 1 April 2027. The contract for Southwold House and Andrew Millman Court is 4th June 2027.
