Admission does not guarantee work, but it positions you to compete for individual placements as they arise, often with a faster and lighter-touch process than open tenders. Many DPS systems remain open to new applicants throughout their life, so there is rarely a single deadline to miss.

Social value carries real weight in care commissioning. Commissioners value local employment, workforce development, apprenticeships, and evidence of staff pay above the minimum wage. Responses that quantify these commitments, rather than describe them in general terms, score more consistently across evaluation panels.
