Description

Cambridgeshire County Council is seeking Market Engagement for its Smoking Cessation Services targeted at people experiencing homelessness and other socially excluded groups in Fenland area of Cambridgeshire. The service aims to reduce smoking-related health inequalities amongst people experiencing homelessness and other socially excluded groups in Fenland by providing accessible, effective and targeted tobacco dependence treatment that reaches those most at risk of smoking-related harm. In view of the positive outcomes achieved through the current service model, we intend the future service to retain the core components of the existing approach while providing sufficient flexibility for the provider to apply their expertise, innovation and best practice in service delivery.

The new contract is planned for an initial duration of 2 years, plus a potential 1-year extension period. (Note, this is subject to change). Please note this is a procurement governed by the Provider Selection Regime (PSR) and is subject to the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023.
