Description
NHS Continuing Healthcare (NHS CHC) is a package of care for adults aged 18 or over which is arranged and funded solely by the NHS. In order to receive NHS CHC funding individuals, have to be assessed by integrated care boards (ICBs) according to a legally prescribed decision-making process to determine whether the individual has a ‘primary health need’.
The Authority sought a provider with the ability to equip staff with the knowledge, skills, and professional confidence required when working with individuals who may be eligible for NHS CHC or joint health and social care funding. It is anticipated that approximately 180–250 staff will be required to participate across multiple cohorts.
