Manage your saved searches
Updated 2 Oct 2026
Create a saved search from a few keywords, then edit, reorder or delete it from Saved searches whenever your focus changes.
A saved search keeps a set of keywords working for you, so new tenders that match are collected without you searching again. You manage all of them from Saved searches in the left-hand menu. Free includes one saved search, and Pro and Business include unlimited.
Create a saved search
- Open Saved searches and select Add saved search.
- Under Name, give it a short label such as "Website Design".
- Under Keywords, type a term and select Add (or press Enter). Repeat for each term.
- Optionally, describe what you are looking for in the box headed "What tenders are you looking for?". If you have saved case studies, you can also tick them under Attach case studies.
- Select Save search.
You can also start from Browse. Search for a term, select Save search, then add it to an existing saved search or create a new one. See Search and filter live tenders.
Choose good keywords
Each keyword matches on its own, so add several short terms rather than one long phrase. Keep each keyword to ten words or fewer, and describe what you do ("grounds maintenance", "occupational therapy") rather than the procurement format ("framework", "ITT"). If one search is collecting a lot of keywords, split it into separate searches by specialism so each one stays focused. For help choosing between keywords and sector settings, read Keywords or sectors: which to use.
Work with your searches
Each saved search is a card showing its number of live matches, and a badge shows how many are new.
- View matches opens the tenders that match that search.
- Past awards shows contracts previously awarded for the same keywords.
- Edit reopens the form. Change anything, then select Save changes. Editing is part of Pro: on Free you can view and delete your saved search.
- The cross icon, labelled "Delete saved search", deletes the search after you confirm. Deleting cannot be undone.
- When you have more than one, drag the handle on a card to put the most important search first.
If a keyword has not matched a tender for twelve months, the card says so and suggests a broader term.
Plans and emails
On Free you can keep one saved search, and its card carries a No email alerts badge. Your matches still show on the page and on your dashboard, and you receive the weekly digest. Pro delivers matches to your inbox every day. If you have reached your limit, Add saved search opens the upgrade options. See /pricing for the plans.
Buyers you follow
If you follow a buyer, it appears in a Buyers you follow list at the top of this page with an Unfollow button. See Follow a buyer.
Good to know
- On Free, following a buyer uses the same single saved-search slot.
- The note "Want to include EU tenders?" at the bottom of the form links to your settings. See Ireland and EU settings.
- If one of your keywords cannot be used, the form tells you before saving and leaves that keyword out.
