What each email contains

Updated 2 Oct 2026

The weekly digest, the daily match email and the two watchlist emails each carry a short list of tenders with a link back to the full detail.

Every TenderSignal email is built to get you to the right tender quickly: a short list, the buyer, the deadline, and a link to the full notice. This page shows what to expect in each one.

The weekly digest (Free)

Sent on a Tuesday or Thursday morning, only in weeks when something new matched your saved search. It includes:

  • A headline with the number of tenders that matched this week, and the name of the search they came from.
  • A short list of those tenders with the buyer and the closing date. With three or fewer, each one is named and you get a link to your dashboard. With more, the email names a few and tells you how many more are waiting on your dashboard.
  • A line counting how many of the matches are Hard to find, meaning not on the national portals. These are counted rather than named, because the details are part of Pro. See what Hard to find means.
  • When there are contracts due back on the market in your sectors, a short Coming up in your sectors note with a few examples. The expected month for each is part of Pro.
  • A button to get your matches daily with Pro.

The daily match email (Pro and Business)

The subject names the number of new tenders, for example "3 new tenders matching" followed by your search name. It includes:

  • A New matches label and a headline with the total.
  • Your matches grouped under the name of each saved search. A tender that fits more than one search is shown once.
  • For each tender: the title, the buyer, the contract value when one is published, and the deadline. Deadlines within three days are shown in red, such as Closes tomorrow.
  • A "via" line naming the keyword that brought the tender in, or "following this buyer" if it came from a buyer you follow.
  • For Hard to find tenders, a line saying which national portal the notice is not on.
  • Up to ten tenders, the ones closing soonest, and a View all button for the rest.

Watchlist emails

If you watch tenders, you also get:

  • Your tender watchlist this week: a roundup of everything on your watchlist, sent on Tuesday mornings.
  • Closing-soon reminders: one combined email on the morning when any watched tender is 7, 3, 1 or 0 days from its submission deadline, or 3, 1 or 0 days from its questions deadline. Several deadlines on the same morning arrive together in a single email. See deadline reminders.

Account emails

Emails about your account, such as verifying your address or resetting your password, are separate and always sent. See change or stop your emails.

Good to know

  • Every tender email footer has Manage preferences and Unsubscribe links.
  • Open any tender in an email for the full notice. On the Free plan, the link to a Hard to find tender's own portal is part of Pro.
  • The timing of each email is covered in weekly digest or daily emails.

Common questions

Why does the email show only some of my matches?

The daily match email lists the ten tenders closing soonest and has a button to view all of them. Your full list is always on your dashboard.
