Description
MOPAC is commissioning a new service, or services, to provide mental health and neurodiversity support to priority offenders who are open to the Probation Service. The service(s) will carry out assessments and undertake therapeutic interventions to address the underlying criminogenic needs of priority offenders. In addition, the service(s) will undertake neurodiversity screening and support individuals on probation to manage their neurodiversity related needs throughout the duration of their order and/or licence.
The commissioned service(s) will also be expected to work closely with probation practitioners, supporting the ongoing development of their knowledge and understanding of mental health and neurodiversity within the criminal justice system.
MOPAC is currently considering structuring the procurement as two separate lots: one focused on mental health support and the other on neurodiversity support. Initial term (2 years): £2,116,000 (£1,058,000 per annum)
Extension option 1 (1 year): £1,058,000
