Traffic Management Services

The Association of North East Councils Limited Trading As the North East Procurement Organisation (NEPO) has established a multi-supplier, multi-lot Framework Agreement for the supply and delivery of road traffic management equipment and services.

The Framework Agreement offers Contracting Authorities access to Suppliers who can undertake the following activities:

• Set up, maintain and remove traffic management as specified by each works order, including provision of all signs and cones

• Temporary traffic signals

• Temporary lane closures

• Planned road closures

• Temporary road closure with fully signed diversionary route

• Mobile lane closures

• Provide 24hr emergency call out to any site that has traffic management in place

• Manufacture and supply of temporary works information boards

• Traffic Management Events

NEPO does not give any guarantee and/or warrant the actual value of orders (if any) which will be placed with the successful suppliers by any Contracting Authority using the Framework Agreement pursuant to this process and accepts no liability thereof.

Road Traffic Management Services within the Tyne and Wear area in relation to Events

The suppliers may be required to undertake traffic management services including but not limited to the below:

Lot 5 of the Framework Agreement will be awarded to a maximum of 5 suppliers Additional information: This Framework Agreement may be utilised for funded projects, including by not limited to Heritage Lottery Funding (HLF), Levelling Up Fund (LUF), The Towns Fund (Towns Deals & FHSF), Sport England and others although the detail of this is currently unknown. Contracting Authorities are wholly responsible for the Call-Off Contract meeting the requirements of the applicable funding body
