Core+ 2024 Contract London Borough of Waltham Forest

The DfE monitors the participation of 16-year-olds (academic

year 12) and 17-year-olds (academic year 13) by using data

submitted by LAs to National Client Caseload Information

System (NCCIS) The 16-17 Participation Team submit statutory

data to the portal by every month by using the Core + Client

Caseload Information System (CCIS)

This ICT system has been used by the LA since 2016 in order to

meet it statutory functions relating to the participation of

young people in education or training .

A new 3-year contract document was signed (attached for

reference) with Access Group on 11/07/2024 for 3 academic

years from 01/09/2024-31/08/2027. This contract is for the 3

year supply of the Core+ CCIS database & full management

service. A procurement process was not carried out at the time

due to their being an understanding that this was the only

provider that could provide an ICT system that would meet the

DfE’s submission requirements.

The first year of the contract 01/09/2024-01/09/2025 has been

paid. This request is to agree to the remaining 2 years of the

contract so that payment can be made by 01/09/2025 to allow

the LA to continue to deliver its statutory functions.
