Description

Please find attached documentation for a quick quote competition to provide Sustainable Finance Training to Department for Enterprise to be carried out as soon as possible.

Finance Isle of Man (“FIOM”) is an Executive Agency within the Isle of Man Government’s Department for Enterprise. The Agency is responsible for the strategic development, policy input and promotion of the Island’s Financial and Professional Services (“F&PS”). FIOM works in partnership with industry, government, and regulators to ensure the Island remains a competitive International Finance Centre. Its remit includes supporting innovation, fostering sustainable growth, and ensuring the sector is modern, agile, and proactive in a rapidly evolving global landscape.

Interested parties will be required to deliver up to 3 identical half-day (3- 4 hour) sessions of in-person training in the Isle of Man to Board & Senior Management which will include coverage of the following:

Climate, Nature and Sustainability Risks:

  • Climate-related financial risks and opportunities.
  • Nature-related risks and dependencies.
  • Wider environmental, social and governance (ESG) considerations relevant to financial services.
  • Implications of sustainability risks for business strategy, risk management, and long-term resilience.

Greenwashing and Conduct Risks:

  • Understanding greenwashing and sustainability-related misrepresentation.
  • Conduct and reputational risks arising from sustainability claims.
  • Examples of market practices, enforcement actions, and lessons learned.
  • Approaches to managing sustainability disclosures and communications.

Governance Expectations and Oversight:

  • Board and executive responsibilities relating to sustainability.
  • Governance frameworks and accountability structures.
  • Integration of sustainability considerations into enterprise risk management.
  • Effective oversight and reporting practices.

International Sustainable Finance Landscape:

  • Key global developments and trends in sustainable finance.
  • Relevant international frameworks, standards, and initiatives.
  • Regulatory developments influencing financial services organisations.
  • Implications for the Isle of Man as an international financial centre.

Market Opportunities and Strategic Positioning:

  • Emerging opportunities within sustainable finance markets.
  • Investor, customer, and stakeholder expectations.
  • Strategic responses available to financial services firms.
  • Positioning the Isle of Man and Isle of Man-based businesses within the evolving sustainable finance landscape.

The Quick Quote will remain available on the Portal for Expressions of Interest until noon (12.00 hrs) on 21st September 2026 and the deadline for submissions is noon (12.00 hrs) on 4th October 2026 and your response must be submitted through the portal by this deadline.

Once you have selected `Express Interest` a `Quote Documents` tab will appear and this is where you will find the above mentioned documents.

After the above deadline the Portal will `Lock-Out` and no further submissions can be made.

If your organisation does not wish to submit a response to provide these services, please select `Opt-Out` and select a reason. You can also choose to stop receiving correspondence on this screen.
