Supply of Festive Presents and Artificial Christmas Tree

Derby City Council intends to contract with for a new contract to replace its existing agreement for the installation, removal, maintenance and programming of 4 x illuminated Christmas presents and 1 x artificial Christmas tree. The Council has published this VEAT notice and intends to award a contract following a 10 day standstill period from this notice.

Derby City Council currently has a contract for the provision of installation, removal, maintenance and programming of 4 x illuminated Christmas presents and 1 x artificial Christmas tree.

This procurement is required as part of Derby City Council's festive lights and seasonal decorations display offering. The Council proposes to contract with Blachere Illuminations Ltd as the company are the equipment developers and designers and the only provider able to support this proprietary product. Additional information: Award of a contract without prior publication of a call for competition in OJEU as the procurement falls outside the scope of application of the directive. The Council will observe a 10 day standstill period.
