Watch a tender
Updated 2 Oct 2026
Click Watch on any tender to save it to your watchlist, where you can track its deadline, add notes and set a status.
Watching a tender saves it to your watchlist so you can come back to it, keep an eye on the deadline and add your own notes. You can watch any tender while signed in, from the browse page or from the tender itself.
Watch a tender
- Sign in and open the browse page, or open a tender to read the full notice.
- On a tender card in the list, click Watch. On the tender page itself, click Add to watchlist.
- The button changes to Watching and a short message confirms the tender is saved to your watchlist.
Your saved tenders are all in one place under Watchlist in the left-hand menu (the page is called Your watchlist). They are ordered by deadline, and each shows a countdown such as "7d left", "Tomorrow" or "Closed".
What you can do on your watchlist
- Set a status. Use the dropdown on each tender to mark it Watching, Bidding, Submitted, Won or No bid.
- Add notes. Open the notes on any tender to keep your own comments next to it.
- Remove a tender. Click the cross at the top right of the tender, or click Watching on the tender page.
- Get reminders. Every watched tender gets closing-soon emails as its deadline approaches. See Deadline reminders.
- See deadlines in your calendar. See Add deadlines to your calendar.

How many tenders can you watch?
| Plan | Tenders you can watch |
|---|---|
| Free | Up to 3 |
| Pro | As many as you like |
| Business | As many as you like |
On Free, the top of your watchlist shows how many of your three slots you have used, for example "2 of 3 watch slots used". If you click Watch on a fourth tender, a message explains the limit and shows how to move to Pro, where the watchlist is unlimited. The tenders you already watch are not affected, and you can free up a slot at any time by removing one you no longer need.
See /pricing for the full plan comparison.
Good to know
- If you are already watching more than three tenders, for example from an earlier trial, you keep all of them. You just cannot add more until you are back under the limit.
- Saving a tender you are already watching never uses a new slot.
- Once a tender has closed or been awarded, it stays on your watchlist, shown as closed or awarded, until you remove it.
- Every Tuesday morning we send a summary email of the deadlines and updates for everything on your watchlist. To change your email settings, see Change or stop your emails.
