Invite colleagues to your team
Updated 2 Oct 2026
Send an invite from Settings, Team, and your colleague joins in a few clicks using the link in their email.
You can add colleagues to your team from the Team page in your settings. Each person gets an email with a link, accepts it, and joins with their own dashboard and alerts. Only the team owner can send invites, and you need a Business plan.
Send an invite
- Open Team under the Workspace group in your settings.
- In the Invite a colleague box, type your colleague's email address.
- Select Send invite. You will see an "Invite sent" message.
The box also tells you how many seats are available. If you cannot see Invite a colleague, either every seat is in use or you are not the team owner. See how seats work.
Your colleague is listed under Pending invites with the label "Awaiting" until they accept or the invite expires.
What your colleague does
- They open the email titled "[your first name] has invited you to TenderSignal" and select Accept invitation.
- The page shows who invited them and the team name.
- If they are signed in with the invited email address, they select Accept and join team. If not, they select Sign in to accept, or Create an account and register with the invited email address.
- They see "You're in!" and can select Go to my dashboard.
Manage your members
The Members list on the Team page shows everyone on the team, labelled Owner or Member. As the owner you can:
- Suspend member (the pause icon) to pause someone's Business access without removing them. You are asked to confirm first. Their label changes to Suspended. Use Reinstate member to bring them back at any time.
- Remove from team (the bin icon) to take someone off the team and free up their seat. You are asked to confirm first, and this cannot be undone.
- Rename the team using the pencil icon beside the team name.
Good to know
- An invite link works for 7 days. If it expires, send a fresh invite.
- The invite only works for the email address it was sent to. If your colleague is signed in with a different address, they are asked to sign in with the right one.
- A suspended colleague still uses a seat. Remove them if you need the space.
- A member you remove returns to the Free plan.
- Each person receives their own alerts, so it helps to ask colleagues to check their sectors and regions when they join.
Once your team is in place, try adding notes to a tender so everyone can see where a bid stands.
Common questions
How long does an invite last?
An invite link expires after 7 days. If it runs out, send a new invite from the Team page.
Can my colleague join with a different email address?
No. The invite only works for the email address it was sent to, so they need to sign in or create an account with that address.
