Cleaning tender alerts
Search every live UK and Irish tender, free. Pro does the hard work for you and emails them every morning. Covers commercial cleaning contracts from councils, schools, NHS trusts and housing associations across the UK.
Cleaning is one of the most consistently procured services in the public sector. Every council, school, NHS trust, university and housing association needs it, most of that spend goes out to competitive tender, and contracts are usually multi-year with extension options. The work is genuinely accessible to smaller firms, because buyers frequently split contracts into site-based or regional lots rather than awarding one national contract.
The difficulty is terminology. The same work is advertised as "cleaning services", "soft FM", "soft services", "environmental services" and "janitorial", so a keyword search that finds one of those misses the rest. Filtering by CPV code is far more reliable, and the codes that matter are a short list: 90910000 for cleaning services generally, 90919200 for office cleaning, 90911200 for building cleaning and 90919300 for school cleaning.
Volume is the other problem. Cleaning notices appear constantly and across a very wide spread of buyers, including many that publish only on their own portal. Checking by hand means either missing contracts or spending time on it that would be better spent pricing bids.
Alerts solve both. Set your regions and keywords once, and new matching cleaning contracts arrive by email, with the CPV filtering handled for you so the wording a buyer happens to use stops mattering.

Cleaning tender alerts: common questions
Are cleaning tender alerts free?
Yes, to start. Searching is free, and so is one saved search with its 3 newest matches in your account and a Tuesday email of how many new cleaning contracts it found, with no card. Free lets you browse and discover: you can browse, search, filter and open every live tender. Pro does the work for you. What CPV codes cover cleaning contracts?
The main ones are 90910000 for cleaning services generally, 90919200 for office cleaning, 90911200 for building cleaning and 90919300 for school cleaning. Filtering by these is more reliable than keyword searching, because buyers describe the same work as cleaning, soft FM, soft services, janitorial or environmental services depending on who wrote the notice.
Are public sector cleaning contracts realistic for a small firm?
Often yes. Buyers frequently divide cleaning into site-based or regional lots rather than awarding one national contract, and a great deal of the work sits below the threshold where the largest competitors focus. Single-site school and council contracts in particular are regularly won by regional firms.
Can I get alerts for one region only?
Yes. Filter by region so you only see contracts in the areas you actually service.
