Description

The Contract is for the upgrade and resurfacing of an existing footpath within Valley Park, Newtownabbey. The works involve the reconstruction of approximately 400m of existing footpath, currently ranging from 1.6m to 1.9m in width, to a 3m wide shared-use path, covering an approximate ribbon site area of 0.5 acres.

The project aims to provide a safe, accessible and sustainable off-road Greenway route for pedestrians and cyclists, improving connectivity between surrounding residential areas, Valley Park, Valley Leisure Centre and the recently constructed Glas Na Braden route.
