Extra Care Framework Gateshead Council

Gateshead Council is seeking to establish a new Extra Care Framework for the provision of care and support services across existing and future Extra Care housing schemes within the borough. The Framework will support the Council's commitment to enabling people to live independently, reducing reliance on residential care, and responding to the growing demands associated with an ageing population and increasing prevalence of dementia. The Framework is expected to cover care and support services across Extra Care schemes within Gateshead, creating a flexible, sustainable model for the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care over the lifetime of the Framework.
