As part Loch Lomond & The Trossachs Landscape Connections, we will be delivering a programme of invasive rhododendron removal
Full description
As part Loch Lomond & The Trossachs Landscape Connections, we will be delivering a programme of invasive rhododendron removal. The invasive species Rhododendron ponticum and its hybrids (hereafter referred to as invasive rhododendron), is widespread across the National Park. The National Park’s Future Nature Route Map identifies invasive rhododendron as a top threat to our native woodlands, and it is a primary threat to our remaining rainforest habitats. Working with land managers to eradicate invasive rhododendron is therefore a priority for the National Park Authority.
