Supply and Delivery of Inflatable Water-Filled Temporary Flood Barriers and Ancillary Equipment

Carlow County Council invites tenders for the supply and delivery of 1,600 metres of modular inflatable water-filled temporary flood barriers and associated ancillary equipment for use in emergency flood-response operations. The requirement comprises 3 m, 5 m and 10 m modular barrier sections capable of rapid deployment, air inflation, water filling, interconnection and recovery by Council and Fire Service personnel. The proposed system shall also provide for bi-tube/twin-tube configurations, including approved elevated configurations where increased flood-protection height may be required.
