Flexible Framework for the Provision of Education Services

North Lanarkshire Council (the "Council") proposes to establish a Flexible Framework Agreement for the Provision of Education Services.

The Agreement is anticipated to commence in May 2027 for a period of 48 months (4 years).

The maximum value of the Agreement is 16,000,000 GPB.

Establishing this Agreement will continue the provision of a Flexible Framework for services that support the priorities and objectives of the Education and Families Service. The first generation of this Framework Agreement was established in December 2018, primarily to support activity funded through the Scottish Attainment Challenge (SAC) and Pupil Equity Funding (PEF). This Flexible Framework Agreement builds on that established approach, providing schools and the wider service with continued access to a flexible range of external services.

Services delivered through this Lot should support the principles of Getting it Right for Every Child (GIRFEC), The Promise, children’s rights-based practice, inclusive education, health and wellbeing, equity, and the ongoing commitment to reducing the poverty-related attainment gap.

This Lot is to deliver specialist curriculum and/or pedagogical support which may include, but is not limited to:

• Curriculum design, review and implementation support.
• Learning, teaching and assessment development.
• Professional learning programmes for teaching and support staff.
• Coaching, mentoring and instructional coaching models.
• Pedagogical research and evidence-informed practice.
• Assessment and moderation support.
• Literacy, numeracy and health and wellbeing improvement programmes.
• Digital learning and digital pedagogy development.
• Inclusive practice and strategies to support diverse learner needs.
• Learning and teaching approaches to improve engagement, motivation and participation.
• Support for curriculum innovation, interdisciplinary learning and skills development.
• Support for leadership of learning at classroom, middle leadership and senior leadership levels.
• Development of practitioner enquiry and self-evaluation approaches.
• Subject-specific curriculum development and specialist pedagogical support.
