Garage Equipment - Maintenance, Service and Calibration

[VEHICLE MANAGEMENT > Garage & Workshop > Tools & Equipment] The Southwest Police Procurement Service (SWPPS), acting on behalf of the five South West police forces, operates a number of vehicle workshops across the region. Each workshop has an ongoing requirement for the preventative maintenance, scheduled servicing, inspection, testing and calibration of workshop equipment, including small tools and ancillary equipment.

The requirement also includes ad hoc remedial repairs to both fixed and mobile workshop assets, as well as equipment installed within mobile service vehicles. These services are essential to support the safe, effective and efficient maintenance and operation of police vehicle fleets, ensuring maximum asset availability and utilisation.

The contract will also require the supplier to maintain accurate and up-to-date records of assets, warranties, inspections, servicing and certifications, ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation, industry standards and regulatory requirements.
