Description

Pre-Market Engagement – Technical Implementation Partner

The University of York is undertaking Pre-Market Engagement (PME) in advance of procuring a Technical Implementation Partner (TIP) to implement its new Identity and Access Management (IAM) platform, Okta.

Okta has already been determined through a separate procurement exercise. The proposed PME is therefore focused on the implementation of the platform, including the scope of implementation and integration services, delivery approach, resourcing, timescales and commercial model.

Through this project, the University is seeking to replace its fragmented identity processes with a single, modern Okta service. The aim is to automate the identity lifecycle, simplify and secure access to University services, and improve governance and visibility of who has access to what. The Technical Implementation Partner will play a key role in delivering this platform and transitioning it safely into service, while minimising disruption to staff, students and researchers.

The University is seeking to engage with organisations with the prescribed OKTA experience i.e. A Certified Okta partner with at least "consultant level certification" or higher, delivering enterprise IAM implementations, particularly within complex UK or EU higher education or similar public sector environments.

With this level of certification and experience you are applicable for this PME. You may be required to provide more detailed evidence of your experience and accreditation as part of our Invitation to Tender which will rapidly follow this PME.

Further information on the University's requirements, project context and draft procurement documentation will be made available to those of you who formally Express an Interest and sign the Non-disclosure agreement (NDA).
