Therapy Adoption Services for Adoption South East

Therapy Adoption Services for Adoption South East East Sussex County Council (ESCC) has become the central hub for Adoption South East, a Regional Adoption Agency (RAA) incorporating the Local Authority (LA) adoption services of ESCC, West Sussex CC, Surrey CC and Brighton & Hove City Council. As the host for the partnership between the four LAs, ESCC now operates a regional account with the Adoption Support Fund and will therefore draw down the government funding for these services on behalf of the RAA. The majority of Service Providers are within the private sector.

The RAA will accept Ofsted responsibility for individual providers. The contracts awarded through the procurement will not guarantee any business to the Providers but will make them eligible to receive individual packages of therapeutic care from the RAA member authorities. Spot commissioning will be awarded under the terms of this contract and all payments will be made through ESCC.
