The Police & Crime Commissioner for Warwickshire on behalf of Warwickshire Police has awarded a contract for the support and maintenance of equipment and software for use in communication via the force to police helicopters. This was a direct award via an internal exemption process due to the unique supply and to award for a longer term to ensure regular inspections and negate the need for ad hoc requests for support. The agreement is in place for 3 years with no extension periods.
