Description
Public Health South Tees (PHST) seeks a provider to deliver a recovery service across Middlesbrough and Redcar and Cleveland. The service will form a core element of the integrated treatment and recovery system and support adults, young people, families and communities affected by drug and alcohol use across South Tees.
The aim of the overall Integrated Recovery and Treatment System is to provide a holistic, person-centred package of support that meets the needs of individuals, families and communities without requiring people to navigate multiple services to access appropriate care. The South Tees Recovery Service aims to support individuals to achieve and sustain long-term recovery from alcohol and other drug (AoD) dependence through evidence-based interventions, structured recovery pathways and community reintegration support.
Working as part of the wider, integrated treatment and recovery system, the service will contribute to reducing the harms associated with alcohol and drug use across South Tees, including Middlesbrough and Redcar and Cleveland, while improving physical and mental health, family relationships, housing stability, employment outcomes and overall wellbeing. The service will promote a culture of hope, ambition and visible recovery, recognising that recovery is achievable for all individuals when provided with the right support, opportunities and community connections.
