Substance Misuse Families and Affected Others Support Services

In recognition that substance use can have a devastating impact on families and those close to the substance user, Lincolnshire County Council wishes to commission an all age specialist Substance Use Family and Affected Others Support Service.

The service has been designed to take a whole family approach so that families can access seamless support rather than having to access separate services.

The aim of the service is to provide countywide support for families and people affected by substance use to improve their own health, wellbeing and quality of life.

Lincolnshire County council are looking for a countywide solution that can support adult, children and young persons and their families and affected others including children and young persons who have experienced substance misuse.

The main Service Outcomes are:

• To improve the health and wellbeing of families and affected others
• To increase confidence in their ability to cope.
• To improve family relationships
• To increase informed awareness of substance misuse and its impact
