Description
This contract is to provide the Council’s emergency response teams, (Duty Silvers, the BECC, Temporary Accommodation) with the ability to provide temporary accommodation and transport for displaced residents during emergencies. Using this service provides functionality and efficiency otherwise unavailable to the lay person booking a hotel e.g. booking for the same day, with immediate check-in, allowing for considerable reduction in the damage done to a resident’s health and wellbeing when they are forced to leave their homes.
