TC007 - Learning Disability Supported Living Service

Mini Competition Utlising the GM Ethical Learning Disability and Autism Purchasing System (STaR Procurement) - Lot 1 Independent at Home

The tender is for the provision of Learning Disability Supported Living Services which is to be used by the Disability Services Team, Department of People.

The Greater Manchester (GM) Commissioning for Reform Strategy sets out the key role commissioning will play in delivering the Council’s ambition for place-based, whole-system reform. In order to do this, the Authority needs to embed a new approach, one which ensures that the Authority’s reform principles are drivers of commissioning activity.

Supported Living is a service which is ideally suited to development which follows these commissioning principles and can champion the Authority’s ongoing dedication to the delivery of place-based services across Greater Manchester. The Authority requires Supported Housing Learning Disability Services which are based in the heart of communities, that offer true choice and control of support and help people achieve and maintain independence.

The Contract has been divided into the following 2 Lots:

Lot 1 – North

Lot 2 – South

The Contract will be awarded to a single (1) provider on each Lot. Where providers had submitted a bid in response to both Lots for this Contract, providers were required to indicate their preference for the Lot (Lot 1 OR Lot 2) they wish to be considered for.
