Description
Cornwall’s Adult Social Care Workforce Strategy was produced by Manchester Metropolitan University (MMU) and published in July 2024. The strategy identifies key recommendations to deliver a well-trained and sustainable independent social care workforce in Cornwall. The External Workforce Team will lead a programme of activity to deliver against these priorities, with oversight and governance from Council leaders and representatives across the social care and health sector.
This contract covers the re-procurement of services from MMU to contribute to the ongoing monitoring of delivery against the recommendations and priorities outlined in the strategy.
