NKDC Council Offices Alterations and Refurbishment Project

The Council is preparing for Local Government Reorganisation (LGR) scheduled to take effect in April 2028. In anticipation of this transition, the organisation must ensure it has a modern, fit-for-purpose working environment capable of supporting new operational structures and enhanced collaborative ways of working. To achieve this, the Council intends to remodel an existing section of office accommodation into an open-plan environment that facilitates greater flexibility, improved communication, and more efficient space utilisation. In addition to the spatial reconfiguration, a programme of refurbishment and improvement works is required throughout the building to create a high-quality, sustainable, and productive workplace for all colleagues.
