Description
The recommendation is to award this contract directly to P2zero. A direct award is necessary for the following reasons:
Consistent Data Tracking: The leadership at P2zero has run the Council's IT efficiency checks since 2019. Keeping P2zero ensures that our new data will match our historical records perfectly, allowing us to accurately track our progress over time.
Unique Technology: P2zero uses a highly specialised approach and has developed a unique way to pull 16/Jul/2026 977 detailed IT usage data directly from AWS. Other suppliers cannot currently offer this level of direct access.
Zero Cost to the Council: This project has been funded by AWS by giving service credits directly to the Council. However, AWS's compliance rules mean they cannot pay the supplier directly. Therefore, the Council must award the contract in order to use these credits and pay for the work.
