The Scarborough Hull York Pathology Service (SHYPS) is a mature pathology network that has been formed from two services operated by the York and Scarborough Teaching Hospital Foundation Trust (YSTHFT) and Hull Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust (HUTH). It is a clinically lead service that incorporates a range of laboratory disciplines across 4 acute hospital sites and covers numerous community, specialist, and primary care facilities across a wide geography.
