Description

North Yorkshire Council is seeking a supplier to provide a Moving Traffic Enforcement (MTE) Camera solution to support the civil enforcement of moving traffic contraventions. The requirement includes the supply, installation, hosting, maintenance and support of approved camera technology, associated software and communications infrastructure. The contract will initially support a pilot deployment of MTE cameras, with the potential for future expansion to additional locations across North Yorkshire.

The solution must be secure, compliant with relevant legislation and government approvals, and capable of supporting the Council's wider traffic management and road safety objectives. The successful supplier will be responsible for delivering a fully operational service, including ongoing maintenance, support, reporting and associated services required to enable effective enforcement operations. The Council is seeking a scalable and future-proof solution that can support both the initial pilot and any subsequent rollout requirements.

The Council intends to use information gained from the market to inform pricing schedules and future procurement options.
