FW Supply & Deliver - 11kV Indoor Switchgear - Multi Site 0637

Scottish Hydro Electric Power Distribution plc and Southern Electric Power Distribution plc, jointly operating as Scottish and Southern Electricity Networks (“SSEN”), intend to establish multi-supplier Framework Agreements for the design, manufacture, testing, supply and delivery of 11kV indoor metal-enclosed primary switchgear for use within UK electrical distribution primary substations.

The Framework will support asset replacement, reinforcement, customer connections and strategic investment programmes across the SSEN Distribution network.

The procurement will be structured across four lots:

• Lot 1: Conventional CT/VT Fixed-Pattern Switchgear
• Lot 2: LPIT-Enabled Fixed-Pattern Switchgear
• Lot 3: Conventional CT/VT Withdrawable Switchgear
• Lot 4: LPIT-Enabled Withdrawable Switchgear

The Framework is intended to support conventional CT/VT and LPIT-enabled architectures, including future digitalisation and IEC 61850 integration. SSEN’s longer-term objective is to establish a more standardised switchgear portfolio capable of supporting repeatable and scalable deployment across the Distribution network.
