Garden Wall Rebuild Works 19 & 20 The Paragon, Bath, BA1 5LX

Curo invites quotations for the fixed-price rebuild and repair of the rear garden Bath stone wall separating 19 & 20 The Paragon, Bath, BA1 5LX, a Listed Building within Bath's Conservation Area / World Heritage Site.

Detailed survey and works requirements are defined in Section 2 – Specification. The works are described further in the accompanying Schedule of Works (Appendix A), Drawings PA201 (Appendix B) and PA202 (Appendix C), and the Pre-Construction Information Pack (Appendix D), which must be read in conjunction with this RFQ.

The works have the benefit of Listed Building Consent (Ref: 26/00295/LBA, granted 22 May 2026 – Appendix E) and must be carried out strictly in accordance with the conditions of that consent, including the approved Method Statement dated 14 May 2026.

Curo (via QSPM) have a Bath stone garden wall separating two adjoining Listed townhouses that has suffered structural failure and requires rebuilding. We wish to appoint a suitably competent conservation-experienced Contractor to rebuild the wall using a combination of retained and reclaimed Bath limestone ashlar, bedded in natural hydraulic lime mortar, to match the original construction in size, profile, colour and grain.
