Voluntary Sector Stroke and Neuro Community Support Services

The Stoke Association Life After Stroke (SA-LAS) Service offers key worker to provide ongoing, personalised interventions tailored to individual needs. These services include one-on-one sessions, group workshops, and vocational support to help survivors return to work and signposting.

This service is an important service for survivors of stroke, and a service review suggests that the service does more than is currently reported including enabling people to adapt to

modifications to enable them to return to work and reduce dependence on the NHS and adult social care services, through enabling access to support services to maintain independence.

This notice is an intention to award a contract to an existing provider following direct award process C.

The approximate lifetime value of the contract is £243,740 over two years on a one plus one year basis.

The contract is estimated to commence 1st April 2026 and end 31st March 2027 with the option to extend for a further year. Additional information: Option to extend by one year
