Description
Lyme Valley Parkway is neighbourhood park within the borough of Newcastle under Lyme. The area in the park allocated for the project is an existing BMX track which is reaching the end of its useful life and part of the skate park, it was agreed to install a new pump track to replace this facility with Lyme Valley Parkway. In addition to the new pump track, a seating area is to be included.
How to engage
To engage with potential contractors on a 1-2-1 basis to understand there expression of interest possible submission and early understanding of the project outcomes e.g. sketch proposal, along with the estimated cost of delivery, estimated delivery timeframe which considers the items below: > Detailed consultation with user groups, site users, residents/ward members. > Detailed design of pump track • Installation of pump track It should also aimed at understanding an outline on how the proposed consultation will be undertaken. How the new designs should reflect on the feedback received during the consultation period and the wishes of the local community and should be suitable for all ages, and wheeled users.
