The H&SCP wishes to commission a service for the provision of care and support of a group of 12 individuals (this includes one vacancy which is in the process of being filled) with a severe and enduring mental illness/disorders that often disrupts major areas of their life, including relationships, employment, housing, and self-care, leading to a need for specialised support services.

This requirement is for the provision of care and support of a group of 12 individuals (this includes one vacancy which is in the process of being filled) with a severe and enduring mental illness/disorders that often disrupts major areas of their life, including relationships, employment, housing, and self-care, leading to a need for specialised support services. This service initially allowed the individuals to be moved from inpatients in Stratheden Hospital into their own homes in the community and now is a supported living service to promote and sustain mental health rehabilitation.
Additional information
Please note that the Contract commenced 10/06/2025 following a transition period to allow the service to transfer to the new Provider.
The Scottish Government Adult Social Care Rate uplift applied to this contract and the budget was uplifted for the contract commencing.
