Description
Intention to award under the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023. Framework agreement for the provision of Homecare Services. The agreement is split into the following Lots:
Lot 1 Low Tech Homecare Services
Lot 2 Mid Tech Homecare Services
Lot 3 High Tech Homecare Services
Lot 4 Remote Patient Monitoring and Virtual Wards
Full description
This Lot covers the dispensing and delivery of complex and specialised medicines that require direct administration by qualified personal for complex treatments that cannot be safely managed by the patient alone, even with training.
High tech activities will include, but not limited to:
- Intravenous infusion
- Self-administration needing advanced aseptic technique and / or portable equipment /specialist ancillaries
- Products that are compounded aseptic medicines
- Administration by healthcare professional
- Provision of refrigeration equipment
- Clinical decisions taken within approved clinical protocol with escalation of out-of-limit findings to the clinically responsible person
- Chemotherapy compounding
- Cancer Care
- Palliative Care
