Description
Ecological Services in relation to the survey and assessment of hedgerows in County Tipperary. The scope of the ecological services contract includes for the ecological survey and assessment of hedgerows within County Tipperary, to include all of the following elements • Carry out field surveys of hedgerow within County Tipperary (Survey methodology should follow Foulkes et al (2013)) • Gather data on the composition, structure and function of the hedgerows • Identify rare or vulnerable species present • Identify Invasive species where present • Identify the main pressures on hedgerows within Tipperary • Map hedgerow surveys and create a GIS layer • Prepare a final survey report which will include recommendations for hedgerow management and/or enhancement Please note: The project (Phase 1) must be complete by the 20th of October 2024
