What Stotles is
Stotles describes itself on its website as "the revenue engine for go-to-government teams". It is a business-to-government platform built for companies that sell to the public sector, and it names account executives, BDRs, sales managers, bid managers and RevOps teams as its users.
The product is organised into three parts, according to its website: Sales Studio, which helps teams find opportunities and shape pipeline before tenders are published; Bid Studio, which helps teams qualify opportunities, collaborate and draft bids; and Stotles AI, which assists with finding opportunities and taking action. Its site says it aggregates opportunities from many government portals so that teams do not have to search them one by one.
What Stotles does well
Stotles is a serious tool for organisations that run public sector sales as a structured function. Its genuine strengths, as set out on its site, include:
- Pre-tender signals. Sales Studio says it analyses budgets, board minutes, strategy papers and policy announcements to surface buyer intent before a formal pre-tender notice appears.
- Expiring contracts. It says it surfaces expiring contracts 12 to 24 months out, so that teams can engage buyers early.
- Contacts and buyer profiles. Its site refers to more than 15,000 government buyer profiles, with job titles, seniority and function.
- Competitor and framework intelligence. It says users can track incumbents, partners and competitors, and link call-off contracts to frameworks.
- Bid support. Bid Studio offers AI bid/no-bid reports and AI-assisted first drafts based on past wins, case studies and tender documents.
- Integrations. It lists Salesforce, HubSpot, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Google Drive and Slack, with bespoke integrations available.
Stotles also has a free Sales Studio plan that includes tender tracking and pre-tenders, which makes it easy to try.
How TenderSignal approaches the same job
TenderSignal is narrower by design. It is a self-serve tender discovery and alerts service for SMEs, with no sales team to talk to and no onboarding project.
Coverage beyond the national portals. We cover the UK (England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland) and the Republic of Ireland. That means the national portals (Find a Tender, Contracts Finder, Public Contracts Scotland, Sell2Wales, eTendersNI and eTenders in Ireland) plus 600+ buyer portals we check ourselves: councils, NHS bodies, housing associations, universities, utilities and more, on platforms such as In-Tend, Delta eSourcing, ProContract, Atamis and Jaggaer. Around one in four live tenders we carry is not on any national portal. If your market includes smaller buyers, that matters.
Buyer contacts at £39 a month + VAT. Pro includes the buyer contact name, email and phone number, with unlimited saved searches and every match delivered daily. Pro is £39 a month + VAT, billed monthly, and you can cancel any time (or pay £390 a year + VAT). The AI relevance score, with its reasoning, is included.
A free plan, with no card. Free (Discover) lets you browse and discover: search and filter every live tender, use award history and competitor profiles, and keep one saved search with a weekly count of new matches.
For teams, Business is £99 a month + VAT for up to 20 seats. It adds shared notes on tenders, competitor intelligence, CSV export, and expiring contracts in every sector with go-live alerts. Registered charities get 30% off. See full pricing.

Who each product suits
Stotles suits larger suppliers with a dedicated public sector sales motion: teams that want pre-tender intelligence, CRM-connected pipeline, competitor tracking, customer success support and AI help with bid writing, and that have the budget for it.
TenderSignal suits small and mid-sized businesses whose first job is simply to see the right live tenders, including those sitting on a council, housing association or university portal rather than a national one. If you want contact details for the buyer, a free plan to start with, no card, and a monthly price you can justify on one contract, Pro is built for that.
Where to go next
Start with the free tender alerts plan, or browse by region: England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland and Ireland. You can look through sectors such as construction tenders, check the buyer directory, or see contract expiries. For more comparisons, see all alternatives, including Tussell and PSIP.
