Pipeline Intelligence

See public sector contracts months before they're republished.

Pipeline Intelligence tracks contract end dates, award notices and buyer announcements to surface upcoming re-tenders, giving you time to position before the RFP drops.

By the time a tender drops, the decision is often already shaped.

Most public sector contracts run for 3-5 year terms. When a contract ends, it gets re-tendered. Most of the time, the incumbent wins because they had a 12-month head start with the buyer.

By the time a re-tender hits Contracts Finder, the buyer has had pre-market engagement, the specification reflects incumbent capabilities, and the deadline is tight. You're bidding from behind.

Pipeline Intelligence inverts that dynamic. We surface the contracts coming up for renewal before the formal notice, so you can do the pre-market engagement yourself.

How Pipeline Intelligence works

1

We ingest every award notice

Every contract awarded through UK public procurement is published as an award notice, including the contract value, start date, supplier name and term length. We ingest every award notice from Find a Tender and Contracts Finder going back to 2020.

2

We calculate likely renewal dates

From the award date and contract term, we calculate the likely end date of each contract. 6-9 months before that end date, the contract enters your Pipeline feed, filtered to match your sectors, regions and value range.

3

You engage the buyer early

You can see the original contract value, the current incumbent, the buyer contact, and the likely re-tender window. Use that window to request a meeting, submit a capability statement, or get on the buyer's early market engagement list.

4

We alert you when the live tender drops

Our matcher compares every new tender against your saved pipeline signals. When a live tender is published that matches one of your signals, you get an immediate alert, so you're first to respond.

What a Pipeline signal looks like

A worked example. Real signals are matched to your sectors, regions and value range.

Translation & Interpretation Services Framework

Birmingham City Council

Current incumbent: TranslateNow Ltd · Contract value: £1.2m · Term: 4 years

Award date: April 2022 · Expected re-tender: Q1 2026

High confidence (within 12 months)
CPV: 79530000 Translation services · 79540000 Interpretation services

This is an illustrative example. Real signals link to actual award notices on Find a Tender and Contracts Finder.

The advantage that compounds

Bid against incumbents on level terms

Know who has the contract, what they won it for, and when it ends. Enter conversations with buyers knowing the context.

Influence the specification

Engage the buyer in the 6-9 months before formal notice, when the requirements are still being shaped. Pre-market engagement is legal and encouraged.

Plan your pipeline with certainty

See confirmed upcoming opportunity in your sector for the next 12-24 months. Not guesswork, but actual contract data.

What Pipeline Intelligence won't tell you

Pipeline Intelligence is a signal, not a guarantee. Contract end dates are estimates based on published award data: some contracts are extended, some are brought in-house, and some are cancelled. We estimate that roughly 70% of pipeline signals within the 12-month window convert to actual re-tenders. We always show you the source data so you can make your own judgement.
