Connect Zapier
Updated 2 Oct 2026
Create a Zap with Webhooks by Zapier and the Catch Hook event, paste its address into TenderSignal and your events flow into Zapier.
Zapier can take every TenderSignal match, deadline reminder or change and send it on to the apps you already use, such as a spreadsheet or a project board. The link between them is a webhook: Zapier gives you an address, and TenderSignal sends events to it.
This needs the Pro or Business plan. See Set up a webhook for how webhooks work in general.
Connect Zapier
In Zapier
- Create a Zap and choose Webhooks by Zapier as the trigger.
- Choose the Catch Hook event.
- Copy the webhook URL Zapier shows you.
In TenderSignal
- Open Settings, then Integrations.
- Under Alerts in your tools, find the card headed Webhooks and press Connect.
- Paste the address into the Webhook URL box.
- Optionally add a name in Name (optional), such as "Zapier".
- Under Send these events, tick the events you want to receive.
- Press Save connection.
- Press Send test event so Zapier can see a sample and map the fields.
Back in Zapier
With the sample message in place, you can map its fields in the next steps of your Zap.
Which events can I send?
On Pro you can send New matches, Deadline reminders, Renewals in your sectors and Changes to watched tenders. Business accounts also see Competitor awards and Tender watched. You can change the ticked events at any time without creating a new Zap.
Each message names its event, so one Zap can route different events differently. If you prefer a separate Zap for each event, press Add another on the Webhooks card to create a second connection.
Check that it is working
On the Webhooks card, press Send log on your connection to see recent sends, with the result and any error detail. A connection that cannot reach Zapier shows Failing.
Good to know
- If you paste a new Zapier address later, add it as a new connection and Disconnect the old one.
- Use Pause on the connection if you want messages to stop for a while without losing your settings, then Resume.
- Send a fresh test event after changing your Zap, so you know the new setup works before the next real alert.
- The webhook guide lists every event with an example message, and explains how to check the signature if you want to confirm each message came from TenderSignal.
Common questions
Which Zapier trigger do I use?
Use Webhooks by Zapier as the trigger app and choose the Catch Hook event.
Why do I need to send a test event?
