Connect n8n
Updated 2 Oct 2026
Add a Webhook node set to POST in n8n, paste its production URL into TenderSignal and send a test event.
n8n can take every TenderSignal match, deadline reminder or change and start a workflow from it, so it can be stored, routed or turned into a task without anyone copying it across. The link between them is a webhook: your Webhook node gives you an address, and TenderSignal sends events to it.
This needs the Pro or Business plan. See Set up a webhook for how webhooks work in general.

Back in n8n
Once the test has arrived, you can use its fields in the rest of your workflow.
Which events can I send?
On Pro you can send New matches, Deadline reminders, Renewals in your sectors and Changes to watched tenders. Business accounts also see Competitor awards and Tender watched. You can change the ticked events at any time.
Each message names its event, so one workflow can branch on it. Alternatively, press Add another to create a second connection pointing at a different workflow.
Check that it is working
On the Webhooks card, press Send log on your connection to see recent sends, with the result and any error detail. A connection that cannot reach n8n shows Failing.
Good to know
- TenderSignal sends each event as an HTTPS POST with a JSON body, which is why the Webhook node is set to POST.
- If your n8n runs on a server of your own, its address must use HTTPS on the standard HTTPS port (443) and be reachable from the public internet. Addresses on private or internal networks are refused when you save.
- Use Pause to stop messages for a while and Resume to start them again.
- The webhook guide lists every event with an example message, and explains how to check the signature.
