Description

The London Borough of Redbridge is preparing to recommission its Healthy Child Programme. As part of this The London Borough of Redbridge is considering the allocation of up to £100,000 per year from the available contract funding envelope to commission voluntary, community, faith and social enterprise capacity for community engagement, outreach and co-production. The proposed provision would support improved awareness of, trust in and access to the universal Healthy Child Programme offer, including universal developmental reviews. It would have a particular focus on communities that are currently less well reached or experience barriers to access and poorer outcomes The Healthy Child Programme (HCP) provides an integrated Health Visiting and School Nursing Service and deliver a full Healthy Child Programme 0-19 years with a focus on working across services and organisational boundaries for babies, children, young people aged 0-19 and their families to improve public health outcomes. As part of our commitment to transparent and inclusive commissioning, we are conducting a Market Engagement Exercise to better understand the capacity, interest, and innovation within the provider market. We invite you to complete the attached Market Engagement Questionnaire, which will help inform the design and delivery model of future services. Your feedback will be used to:

  • Shape the service specification
  • Identify opportunities for integration and innovation
  • Ensure the commissioned services meet local needs and reduce health inequalities This is not a formal tender process, but an opportunity to contribute to the development of a high-quality, equitable, and sustainable public health service. The deadline for completed responses to be submitted via the London Tenders Portal is 5pm Wednesday 18th November 2026. We thank you for your interest and look forward to your valuable insights.
