What happened

UK Research & Innovation awarded this contract to Zurich Instruments AG worth £94,296 on 14 Nov 2022. The contract runs until 31 Mar 2023.

Description

The National Quantum Computing Center (NQCC) aims to build several quantum computers. One of the most promising architectures for the fundamental building blocks of a quantum computer are superconducting circuits. The control of these circuits (qubits) and the quantum states which they maintain is crucial to the operation of a quantum computer. These states are controlled, maintained and read out via microwave electronics which are specially designed for this purpose.
