Background.

  • Schemes for the RIS3 pipeline, named in our Delivery Plan - identified with DfT through strategic studies, route strategies and stakeholder engagement
  • Pipeline mission: to provide a range of options for potential future schemes to enable ministerial decision-making for RIS3.
  • DfT announced an interim settlement in March 2024 outlining the plans for investment of £4.8bn for FY2025/26.
